The other night, my wife, Charis and I were putting our daughter Carolina to bed. She’s getting better at going to sleep, but most nights she has to cry herself to sleep. Sometimes it’s only a brief small whimper as she struggles to keep her eyes open. Other times it’s an ear-piercing shrill of a scream that makes you think she’s being murdered.

In this article, we wanted to share with you why we do not consume all of the money that is donated to us. Instead we give away some of it, we save some of it for the future, and then we pay our expenses out of whatever is left over.

For many, I’m sure this isn’t a typical view of God. We have God, the comforter, the vengeful, the jealous, the merciful, the sacrifice, but rarely do we think of God as “the worshipper”. That is exactly what He does though.
