At Good News Church, we feel that it is very important that we explain to you not only what we do, but why we do what we do. In this article, we wanted to share with you why we do not pass an offering plate and instead have boxes at the back of the room.

Recently, on a Sunday morning, someone said to me, "So, I heard that this building is totally paid for. That's great." Yeah, that would be great! ...if it were true. But it isn't. I'm not sure where the rumor originated, but Gary Haverdink (director of ministries and operations) said he's heard it several times recently, too.

Camp takes a BIG group of amazing people who love God and want to share that love with our campers.

However, right now, our goal is to have the building finished before Easter 2016. Hopefully we will get a few weeks to work the bugs out of our new building (sound systems, air conditioning, whatever) before our highest attendance Sunday of the year.
Why are the Community Groups at Good News Semester-based?

How can you get to know someone in just 10-16 weeks? And how can you really care for people if you are switching out your church friends every semester? Good points. So, let me explain...
