We have reason to celebrate! The Lord has called out so many extra volunteers lately and even current volunteers who are doing extra that we are able to announce the return of the 4th and 5th grade KidZone class.

Our current series, To the Married and Unmarried, is scheduled to finish up on March 26. And we plan to begin Life of Paul: Series 3, on April 23, where we will get a chance to learn about the last third of the Apostle Paul’s life as found in the book of Acts.

We Are All On The Hospitality Team

Have you noticed the fabulous group of volunteers wearing their orange lanyards known as the “Hospitality Team”? What they accomplish in the 50’ X 22’ foyer and 184 inches – that’s 15’ 4” of coffee corner countertop on each side – is remarkable! (Yes, I measured these areas. 😊) The Hospitality Team greets us with smiling faces and warm welcomes at the front doors, they help answer our questions with precision and timeliness at the information desk and they serve us donuts and drinks with excitement and joy at our favorite coffee corner.

Recently, I was thinking about something related to church life that reminded me of something about parenting life.  In both cases, a family is started, there is growth and, at times, growing pains. And as the family matures, there is both a kind of grieving that happens - at the loss of something that only exists in the early stages - as well as a rejoicing regarding some of the fruits of growth and maturity.
