Good News Church has hired Latara Arthur (pictured) to be the next Director of Kids Ministries! Latara is currently directing the children’s ministry at Harvest Bible Chapel on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos, but is excited to move back to Florida (where she lived before moving to the Carribbean about 2.5 years ago.) She is married to Carnid and has two children (one girl and one boy). She also has a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
She is going to be wrapping things up there in the islands, and the plan is to move to Ocala sometime in December, with an intention to begin working at Good News in early January. We are thrilled that she is coming to “partner in the gospel” along with us, and look forward to seeing her use her skills in helping our kids programs move on to the next phase in the life of our church!
