The stewardship of our finances is a tremendous—and often overlooked—area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously.

Just as we can donate from our finances, we can also donate our time. In this way you can help serve people inside, and outside, the church body. We have many ways in which you can serve:

Youth Group

About Us

Youth Group

We are excited to welcome you to Good News Youth! We meet from 6:00 — 8:00 p.m. on most Wednesday nights, in the lobby of the big building at the church. We have snacks, games, youth-led worship songs, a Bible lesson, age-based discussion groups, and prayer.

This semester we will be doing an apologetics study to address common objections to the Christian faith. The outline of our teaching will be from the book “10 Questions Every Teen Should Ask (and Answer) about Christianity” by Rebecca McLaughlin, and we will focus on how the Bible answers these questions.

PARENTS: Please read the PARENT LETTER for more details about the topics of this study. I encourage parents get a copy of the book to help facilitate further discussions at home. (The book is around $8 on Amazon.)
