...I suppose this is an especially appropriate day to let you know that Lance Powers is the newest elder at Good News Church.
We announced his nomination on September 15 of this year and told you that, as long as no disqualifying factors were present in his life, we'd bring him onto the governing board of elders during the latter half of October.
Well, that's what happened. Lance has been an elder for about three weeks already. (In fact, he is the elder who is heading up the assistant pastor search process.) And we wanted you to know.
Please pray for the leadership of Good News Church whenever you think of us, and thank you for being a part of this body of believers.
