Good News Family Leaves To Be Missionaries in Haiti

July 29, 2015 Mario Villella

Russ and Connie Cook are a part of Good News Church and are the leaders of the College/Career Group that meets on Thursday evenings. I am happy to announce that they, along with their daughter Becca, are moving to Haiti to do a different kind of ministry there. Here is the way Russ announced it on Facebook:

"Exciting News!!! Connie and I have officially been accepted as orphanage managers for Three Angels Children's Relief in Port au Prince, Haiti. We will be responsible for overseeing orphanage operations, hosting teams and adoptive couples. This new development will put us on a fast track to move to Haiti full-time. We already have an apartment provided by the ministry and Connie would like to be in Haiti with Becca by the start of the school year which... is August 18th. Wow! I will be staying in Ocala to finish up business here in the states and plan to join Connie and Becca in Haiti within a couple of months.
"We need your prayers and support to make this possible! If we miss our August date, we will have to wait until after the Christmas holidays. If you would be willing to support us as we make our move to Haiti would you send us a private message to let us know how you would be able to support us."

We are happy at the thought that God continues to take some great people out of our midst, in order to use them in other places in other ways. Feel free to check out www.threeangelshaiti.org for more information about the ministry they will be serving in. If you know the Cooks and would like to support them, please do contact them. If you do not know them, but would like to support them, you can reply to this email, and I (Mario) will forward the information on to them.
